     Friends, the most important advance of the fading 20th century is most assuredly the "Who's the Man" Chant. We have all seen the chant rise from humble beginnings to the 140,000 eyes on the JumboTron.

     Still serving the university at the 1998 Alamo Bowl, the "Who's the Man?!" Chant was easily the story of the week; the hard work of the Brush-A-Maniacs provided inspiration for many other fans. Soon, in the grand tradition of Reggie Hayes, more of the media starts to catch on. From the February 1999 issue of "ChicaGO BOILERS!!", the newsletter of the Chicago Purdue Club,



     And now, as evidenced here, some spirited young street toughs are making the message known on the office door of "The Man" himself.



     It's out of control, kids. Where will the "Who's the Man" Chant strike next? We don't know, but we think it's coming ...
