Welcome to Infinity ... a mechanism for you to keep your math skills sharp and your course grade strong at the same time.

   One of the things that makes math awesome is how you learn big things that you then use to learn even bigger things. However, some skills go longer between uses than others. These courses will help you keep those concepts fresh for the next time they're needed in class, on final exams, or through standardized testing.

   Here's how it works: For each day in the periods listed (including Saturdays and Sundays), there will be a one-question quiz available at these sites. Each will debut and close on the same day.

   The question will involve one of your old favorites, pulled from a bank of questions I've written to be useful to you. Since you may be taking this quiz away from math class, there will be opportunity for you to be dishonest; I'll trust you to do the right thing, buddy.

   Each correct answer in the forty-day period will be worth one-eighth of a percent to your quarter grade. If you happen to score every day, that would be worth five extra percent on your quarter grade. It would be hard to expect someone to remember to take the quiz every day ... or get the question right every time you try ... but the more you do, the stronger you'll be.

   This won't be something that you'll get a ton of reminders about, so make a plan to get it done if this is something you're interested in. If you have any questions, ask Rice. Good luck!
