You'd better believe we sent it ... actually, the same day we signed it!

However, we probably goofed by choosing to send it to the customer support area of the textbook's website. Weeks passed, and our urgent query received no response.

In order to get action, we decided that our letter needed to instead be sent to a specific person. We took the textbook's authors list to Google, searching for a good mix of (a) who we would be able to contact and (b) who looked like a person who might actually read beyond the first few lines of the letter. We settled on an author named Grant Wiggins ... mostly because we found that he was in a rock band and might be fun to talk to.

And so, the email was emailed, the attachment was attached, and ... believe it or not ... a reply was replied!
